Hi Product Hunt! I’m Weijia Zhang, founder of RecipeRun. We’re a two-person team at BKZ Lab in Australia, with my teammate focused on marketing and design.
RecipeRun connects the steps between finding a recipe and getting dinner on the table: save it, give it a place in the week, turn the ingredients into a grocery list, and cook.
You can import recipes from websites, text, photos, handwritten cards, TikTok and YouTube, then review the ingredients and instructions before saving. Adjust servings, plan meals for the week and follow along in Cook Mode. Family Groups bring shared recipes, meal plans and shopping lists to everyone’s phone.
It’s available on iPhone and Android, free to start and ad-free. Pro adds unlimited AI imports, Family Group creation, nutrition estimates and more. In Australia, there’s also indicative basket price comparison for Woolworths, Coles and ALDI.
I’d love to hear which part of your recipe-to-shopping routine takes the most effort, and what would make RecipeRun more useful for you. Thanks for taking a look!
