I'm the maker of Receipt Caker. This started with a small, annoying problem: every time I needed a quick receipt or a clean invoice, I'd end up wrestling with a spreadsheet template or signing up for some bloated "invoicing suite" just to export a single PDF. It felt like way too much friction for something that should take 30 seconds. So I built the tool I wanted: make a receipt or invoice, see it update live, and export a clean PDF or PNG — all free, no signup, nothing to install. The thing I care about most: everything runs in your browser. Your numbers, client names, and line items never leave your device — there's no account and no server storing your data. That constraint shaped the whole build. What surprised me was how far it grew. It started as one receipt maker and turned into 40+ tools — AI receipt & invoice generators, category-specific makers (gas, restaurant, hotel, medical, taxi…), and a stack of everyday calculators (sales tax, tip, VAT, markup, late fees).
