Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Read to Unlock because I noticed how easy it is to spend 30–60 minutes scrolling without even realizing it — while reading a book somehow always gets postponed. The idea is simple: 📖 Read 1 page → earn 1 minute of screen time. You choose the apps you want to limit, read a few pages, and complete a quick AI-generated quiz to prove you actually read them. Once you pass, you unlock your apps for the time you earned. Instead of completely blocking social media, Read to Unlock turns screen time into a reward for something useful. I originally started building it for people who want to read more and scroll less, but I also realized it could be especially useful for parents who want to encourage their kids to build a reading habit without simply taking their phones away.
