RDY is a queer dating, parties and community app built for India. It brings profiles, queer events, community posts and local updates into one place, instead of making people jump between dating apps, Instagram pages, WhatsApp groups and scattered event listings. The launch is Mumbai-first, where event discovery and local activity will be strongest, while profiles remain available across India. RDY is currently launching on Android and is still being actively improved through user feedback.

I started building RDY because queer discovery in India still feels unnecessarily scattered.
Dating happens on one app, parties are announced through random Instagram stories, community conversations happen elsewhere, and useful local information often reaches you after it is already irrelevant.
I did not want to build another gay-men-only hookup grid. The idea was to create one place where queer people could discover people, parties and conversations, while having more control over who they see and how they participate.
The product changed quite a lot while I was building it. It started closer to a dating app, but feedback made it clear that events, community posts, privacy controls and inclusive filters were just as important.
I am building most of RDY on my own, so the launch is still early and imperfect. Mumbai is the first focus because local density matters, but profiles are available across India.
I would genuinely appreciate feedback on what feels useful, what feels confusing and what queer apps still continue to get wrong.
