Hey Product Hunt! I'm Oli. This started from a random memory of a Formula 1 driver ranking someone shared on Twitter years ago, built from 1v1 matchups instead of a tier list. That idea stuck with me, and RANKMAKER is the result after a lot of rebuilding. It's been live since June 2025 and I recently rebuilt it on Astro. You can rank movies, music, sports, games and more from existing templates, or create your own with 4 to 50 options. It's fully open source. Would love to hear what you think!
A really clean approach to ranking stuff, love that it skips the tier list mess. One thing I'd want is a head to head history view so I can see which matchups I flip flopped on during a long session, it would make sharing results way more interesting.
@harun1559701 Thanks for your feedback!! There's already a button below the results that says "Battle History" where you can see your decisions, though I think it looks cleaner if it doesn't include the battles where you changed your decision with "Undo".
To be honest, I only added this feature so I could check for myself whether the rankings were forming correctly hahaha, but it's great to see it also has a use for the user!
