Quiet Window is a free, lightweight Chrome extension that blocks distracting websites during your chosen focus hours. I built it after the tool I was using became more limited behind paid features. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking - everything stays local.
I built Quiet Window because I was using Undistracted to block distracting sites during work hours, but after changes to its paid features I could no longer use the active-hours setup the way I wanted.
Instead of looking for another complex productivity app, I made a much simpler version for myself: choose the sites, choose the hours, and they stay blocked. Along the way I kept removing anything unnecessary, so there are no accounts, analytics, tracking, dashboards, or subscriptions. Everything stays local in Chrome.
The goal is simple: a tiny free extension that adds just enough friction to stop me opening YouTube or Reddit when I should be working.
