QuickWire automatically generates an API endpoint in the Next.js api folder and creates a type-safe client function with the same name, making it feel like you’re calling server functions directly from the client. It auto-generates Swagger API documentation for your endpoints. Features: Swagger API Docs: Automatically generated for seamless documentation. Smart HTTP Methods: The generated API uses HTTP methods based on function names (e.g., GET for functions starting with get, list, or search; PUT for update, edit, etc.), configurable in quickwire.config.json. Type-Safe: Create backend functions in the backend folder and call them on the client with identical, type-safe function names.
