I built QuickMaths to solve one problem: math games are usually too slow and too boring. By leveraging Bun's speed and Socket.IO's real-time events, I've created a competitive arena that feels like chess.com, but is a lot more casual.

What do you think? …

I built this after noticing the viral engagement of those 'Only 1% can solve this' math posts. While the problems are usually basic algebra, the competitive drive behind them is real. I wanted to turn that impulse into a high-stakes arena where you can actually test your speed against others. There’s a unique satisfaction in proving your mental superiority under pressure and it turns out that math is a lot more fun when it’s a race. I am especially excited about the ELO, since it gives player something to work towards. Cheaters are a worry, but I don't think that is a problem to think about until I find a good group of players.
