Hey Product Hunters! π
I'm Merajul, an Internal Auditor & Cost Control Specialist based in Bangladesh. Over 11+ years of reviewing real estate and manufacturing company finances, I kept running into the same pattern: business owners and professionals making decisions with rough mental math or clunky spreadsheets instead of quick, accurate numbers.
So I built QuickFinCalc β 53 free financial calculators covering loans, investments, taxes, e-commerce margins, marketing metrics, and payroll. No signup, no ads, no data collection. Just instant calculations.
A few things I'm proud of:
β The mortgage calculator does a full PITI breakdown (Principal, Interest, Tax, Insurance, PMI) with a printable amortization schedule β most free calculators only show basic EMI
β The SIP calculator supports annual step-up contributions and inflation adjustment
β Every formula follows the same standards I use in professional audit work β no shortcuts
This is a solo project, built and maintained by me alone (with a lot of AI-assisted development along the way, since I'm not a traditional developer by training). Still actively improving it β currently working through user feedback on which calculators to build next.
Would genuinely love to hear:
1) Any calculator you wish existed that I'm missing?
2) Anything confusing or broken you spot?
Thanks for checking it out! π

Curious how you keep things truly ad-free with no signup and no data collection running solo, since server costs add up fast, are you planning a premium tier down the line or hosting it as a static site to stay lean?

@ooygur66777Β Great question! Yes, it's hosted as a static site β built with Astro and deployed on Cloudflare Pages, so there's no backend server running per-request. All the calculations happen client-side in the browser (JavaScript), so I'm not even processing or storing any user input on a server. That's really the trick to keeping costs near-zero as a solo operator β Cloudflare's free tier handles the traffic I'm getting right now without issue.
No premium tier planned, at least not in the "pay to unlock the real calculator" sense β that's exactly the model I built this to avoid. If it ever needs to sustain itself financially, I'd look at something non-intrusive like affiliate links on relevant guides (e.g., a mortgage guide linking to an actual lender) rather than gating the tools themselves.
Appreciate you digging into the "how" β not a question most people ask!
