A ledger for complicated money. Every account in its own currency, every transfer matched and kept out of spending, a cash runway with its assumptions shown, and an assistant that answers from your own ledger. Read-only: it can't touch your money.

Hi Product Hunt. I'm the founder, and I built this because I was the problem.
I run 66 accounts at 18 institutions in four currencies on three continents. Thirty-six of them are credit cards, and yes, I know. For ten years my finance app synced them all and then filed my $13,878 card payment, paid from my own checking account, as an expense. Every month. Somewhere in year nine I realized I had become its unpaid bookkeeper, and it still couldn't answer a simple question about my own money. So I built the app that could.
Quaestor Ledger is a ledger for complicated money, not another budget.
• A transfer is not a purchase. Both legs matched by amount, date and account, then kept out of spending and burn rate. It has caught 97 of mine so far.
• Euros are not dollars. 153 currencies, every account in its own, one net worth in the currency you think in, at live rates. Last March stays last March.
• Cash Outlook: how many days of liquid cash you have, as a range, with the confidence and assumptions written down. Arithmetic, not AI, and it does not round up to make you feel better.
• Ask. Don't export. "What did I really spend on restaurants last quarter, transfers excluded?" The answer comes from your own transactions, receipts and accounts. Read-only, and nothing trains on it.
• Receipts become records. Snap one; it reads the merchant, the line items, the tax, the tip, the total and the currency, then looks for the charge it belongs to. I have 1,017 on file.
• Every week your ledger writes to you: the completed week and the outlook, in your time zone.
The honest parts, so nobody wastes a trial: live bank sync is read-only through Plaid and covers the United States and Canada. Everything else comes in by CSV or QIF with a mapping review; my own ledger goes back to 2012 that way. There is no free tier: 7 days free with a card on file, then $12.99 a month or $89.99 a year, and you can cancel before the first payment. It runs in a browser on any device; there is no native app, and phone receipts go in through a shortcut you set up once. And read-only means read-only: we can see your balances, we cannot touch them, and neither can the AI.
For Product Hunt: code PRODUCTHUNT at checkout takes 25% off your first year, through November 2, 2026.
A question for you, because it decides what I build next: what is the one question about your own money that your current app cannot answer?
