Most baby apps make you sign up, tap through menus, and pay to export your own data. PumBaby is built for 3 AM: one-tap logging, local-first (no account required), concurrent crash-safe timers, a Night mode that won’t blind you, and free CSV/JSON export. All 11 trackers (feed, sleep, diaper, pump, growth, meds, etc.) are free — Premium adds widgets, multi-baby, deeper analytics, and family sync. Cross-platform iOS & Android, calm UI instead of a clinical dashboard.
I built this after my own messy phase of tracking feeds in Notes and messages — then blanking at the pediatrician’s office. The bar was simple: open app → one tap → done, even with a baby in one arm and half an eye open at 3 AM.
What we optimized for:
Speed — quick-log sheet, not five menus deep Reliability — timers that survive restarts Calm UI — nursery-friendly, not clinical Privacy — local-first, no forced signup The free tier is genuinely usable long-term (all trackers, export, night mode). Premium adds widgets, multi-baby, deeper analytics, and family sync for growing households.
Would love your feedback — especially anything that still feels slow or awkward one-handed. That’s the test everything else is built around.
Happy to answer questions all day. Thanks for checking us out 🙏

How does the local-first storage actually work for family sync if there's no account needed — do caregivers each have their own separate logs that you merge, or does it still require some kind of device pairing setup?

@adnankaysjaff Local-first is no sharing any where, except you export data. there is another way to sync is online, but this one require pass code to sync between member and owner of data. But, unless you select online sharing, otherwise are local.

The local-first, no-account approach is such a thoughtful move for something used at 3 AM when your brain is running on fumes. Really appreciate the export not being paywalled too, that alone sets it apart from every other tracker I've tried.
The night mode dimming is actually easy on the eyes during a 3am feed, and one-tap logging genuinely saves a tired brain. Nice that the export isn’t paywalled too.
the one-tap logging actually works at 3 am when you're half asleep — that's rare. love that the csv export is free and no account needed, finally an app that treats parents like adults.
