Love how clean this is and the official data sourcing gives real peace of mind. One thing I'd love to see is a small "workload impact" indicator that flags when a holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, basically showing the long weekend potential at a glance. Would help me plan trips way faster than counting days myself.

That "workload impact" idea is genuinely brilliant β you're basically describing a feature I wish I'd thought of from day one. A visual flag for "bridge days" (Tuesday/Thursday holidays where taking one day off creates a 4-day weekend) would be incredibly useful.
Here's the good news: the Long Weekend Planner already detects 3+ day weekends automatically, but right now you have to click into that page to see them. What you're suggesting is surfacing that intel right on the main calendar view β like a small badge or color-coded dot next to the date.
I'm adding this to the roadmap. Would a simple "π΅ = 3-day weekend, π’ = 4-day weekend with 1 day off" visual system work for you? Or would you prefer something more detailed?

Finally a holiday calendar that includes school district breaks, not just the federal ones. Printed the 2026 version and the countdown widget on the homepage is a nice touch for planning trips.

The school district calendars were actually the #1 feature request from parents during early testing. I kept finding sites that listed federal holidays but completely ignored the fact that parents plan their entire year around school breaks β winter recess, spring break, teacher PD days... those matter just as much as federal holidays for family planning.
Right now we cover CA, FL, IL, NY, NC, OK, TX with more states coming. Which state are you in? I'll prioritize adding it next so your 2027 planning is covered too.
And glad you noticed the countdown widget! π That was a fun one to build β it updates in real time so you always know exactly how many days until your next day off. Perfect for those "how many days until the next long weekend?" moments at work.
Out of curiosity β did the .ics export work smoothly for you? That's the feature I'm most proud of but want to make sure it plays nice with different calendar apps.
