ProofScan audits the public proof a buyer sees before paying. Paste a product URL to run an automated 27-point check across trust, clarity, pricing, support, refund, and proof signals. The free scan returns a score and prioritized fixes. A $19 Full Report adds deeper AI analysis and three tagline rewrites. I built it after realizing I had ~30 code and digital-product assets, little real launch exposure, and $0 revenue.
Hi Product Hunt β I'm Xinchen, an indie developer with ~30 code and digital-product assets and, honestly, $0 revenue so far.
Most of those assets were built, packaged, and then barely launched. I kept asking the wrong question: βWhat should I build next?β Before building more, I wanted to know what a stranger actually sees before checkout.
So I built ProofScan. Paste a public product page and it checks 27 buyer-visible signals: category clarity, deliverables, CTA, pricing, screenshots, refund/support language, and basic page hygiene. The free scan returns a score and the top 3 fixes. The $19 report expands that into all checks, export, deeper AI analysis, and 3 rewritten hero lines.
I also ran it on 13 pages, including my own. The recurring problems were boring but costly: unclear product category, vague deliverables, buried CTA, and missing risk-reversal copy.
Important boundary: ProofScan does not inspect private code and cannot promise sales. It is a fast way to find buyer-visible trust gaps before spending more time on traffic.
I would genuinely value blunt feedback:
1. Does the result feel specific enough to act on?
2. Which check feels wrong or missing?
3. Would you trust this before launching a product page?
Thanks for trying it.
