PromptFlow: A professional teleprompter for Windows

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built PromptFlow for a very simple reason. I wanted to record my screen while reading a script, but I wanted the script to stay visible to me without appearing in the screen recording. I couldn't find a simple tool that worked the way I wanted, so I decided to build one myself. I also wanted something that didn't come with a complicated setup or another monthly subscription. Most teleprompter tools I found were either too complicated, limited, or required a recurring payment. So I built PromptFlow as a simple one-time purchase that stays on your computer. PromptFlow is designed to be easy to use. Open your script, place the teleprompter where you want, adjust the speed, and start recording. With PromptFlow, you can: • Adjust scrolling speed • Keep the teleprompter Always on Top • Hide PromptFlow from supported screen recording apps • Change font size, opacity, and other reading settings • Use reading guides and current-line highlighting • Use fullscreen It is made for YouTube creators, course creators, presenters, streamers, podcasters, and anyone who records videos while reading from a script.
