Hi, Iā€™m Andrew, and my co-founder and CTO is Dan. We met at Pinterest ads engineering. Before, we built ads at Facebook and Google respectively. We use self-service performance ad tech to optimize marketplace search. Basically, we deliver every listing as if they were ads, even though they may not be. This works really well. It can increase conversions and seller retention by up to 25%. šŸš€ We work by providing all the hard data engineering around mobile formats, logging, attributing, joining, and aggregating data and feeding this into a full ML ranker. This is like personalized search, but real-time reactive, so it works on new and anonymous users, like on TikTok. We don't aggregate user data across apps because we don't need it. We happily work with any other ML systems by including them as features in our models, so we outperform any baseline. šŸ° Our mission is to match every buyer with every seller across every app. While we currently focus on internal marketplace optimization, our target market is new user acquisition which is today dominated by Facebook and Google. šŸŒŽ We'd love feedback! We usually start with a light weight integration. - Add Promoted's library to your server's API call where you'd want us to reorder items. - Add Promoted's impression and action tracking libraries to your web and mobile interfaces. We usually go through stages of (1) logging mode, (2) shadow traffic, (3) experiments and then (4) full launch. We're happy to answer more questions.
