I'm Karthik. I'm excited to share UtiliCost, a resource planning and workforce cost optimisation application I've been independently developing.

One challenge I've noticed in project delivery is that resource planning isn't just about finding someone available.

Managers also need to balance project priorities, workforce utilisation, staffing costs, and existing commitments.

That's what inspired me to build UtiliCost.

The application helps teams analyse resource requirements across multiple projects, explore alternative staffing combinations, and understand the cost and utilisation implications before making decisions.

I've also included options to lock existing assignments and compare different planning scenarios.

My goal is to make resource planning more practical, transparent, and easier for managers to understand.

I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback, particularly from project managers, resource managers, and people involved in workforce planning.
