Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Privshot because "redacting" a screenshot is deceptively easy to get wrong. People blur or pixelate sensitive text, and that can sometimes be reversed. Privshot auto-detects the PII (OCR + NLP) and blacks it out with a solid box that overwrites the pixels, so there's nothing left to recover. A few things I care about: • The screenshot is analysed on our server in memory to find the PII, then discarded immediately nothing is stored, and nothing trains any model. • The redaction is drawn in your browser; the final image is generated locally and never re-uploaded. • It's hosted on a European cloud (in France), not a US provider's EU region, so it stays under EU jurisdiction. It's free for the web editor; there's a paid API for teams that need to redact at scale (support tickets, bug reports, logs). Detection is best-effort, so you always review before exporting.
