Securely share files with coworkers, friends and family. Offline, no internet required. Works on Windows, and Android with macOS, Linux, and iOS the way. Encrypted direct machine-to-machine connections. User management, user groups, per file access permissions, access and download logs, easy to use, easy to manage. Offline activation available for restricted env's available in the next update.

Privatta — move files directly between machines with no middleman.
Most file-sharing tools make you upload somewhere first - you're trusting a random third party to hold your data while it waits to be downloaded. Privatta doesn't do that. Files move directly, machine to machine.
It's pull-only. The recipient has to actively grab a file. Nobody can push something onto your machine. There's no delivery mechanism to abuse, no way for a malicious file to land somewhere you didn't ask it to.
How connections work:
Locally (home, office network), machines find each other directly and move files — no server in the picture at all.
For remote transfers, it's two steps:
The file owner marks a file for remote transfer, creates a local account in the app, and generates a one-time code through our open-source relay server.
The recipient uses that code to connect directly to the owner's machine (with provided credentials) over WebRTC.
The moment that connection is live, the relay steps out completely. It's not in the transfer path, and it holds nothing in memory once the handshake is done — no logs, no data, nothing left behind. Each code works once, then it's dead. The connection tied to it is temporary and scoped to that one code, not an account, not to a transfer.
Everything to everything. Mobile-mobile, mobile-desktop, desktop-desktop, desktop-mobile — any combination. Android app has full functionality, including QR code verification to pair with the machine you're exchanging files with, and single-use remote codes work the same way as desktop.
Free tier:
Mobile: 5 transfers/day
Desktop: 10 transfers/day
Pro and Enterprise add per-file access control, scoped mini-accounts for people you're exchanging files with (including groups and group-level permissions), a local access/download log, and automatic blacklisting of anyone trying to brute-force a login.
Offline licensing will be in the next update.
PROMO - for users who come from ProductHunt, 15% off for base app subscruptions for 1 year! (extra seats are not included into this promo). First come first served basis, 100 uses to begin with.
Relay server is open source — audit it yourself or run your own instance if you don't want to trust ours for even the handshake step. See it here -> https://royalsoftworks.com/products/webrtc-relay-server/
Love that this works fully offline, that's genuinely rare. One thing that would make it a no-brainer for me though: adding a QR code pairing option so two devices on the same wifi can connect without typing in IPs or fiddling with manual setup. Would basically remove the biggest friction point for first-time users, especially on phones.
@naimekini8upz Funnily enough there is that option already, I forgot to mention it. Available in free version too!
EDIT: I added a few more screenshots of the mobile companion app - yes there are QR codes for pairing on LAN, thanks to Naime for reminding me to put that in
