I run a small 3D printing service and built PrintTrack because nothing existed specifically for makers. Track orders, calculate real profit per print, manage filament costs, generate PDF invoices and see your business dashboard: all free, no credit card needed. Built by a maker for makers.
I started my 3D printing service about two years ago and for the longest time I was managing everything in Excel. Orders in one sheet, filament costs in another, expenses somewhere else. Every time I wanted to know if I was actually making money on a job I had to dig through three different files.
At some point I just got fed up and started building something for myself. I wanted one place where I could add an order, track the print hours and filament used, see the real profit after costs, and generate an invoice to send the customer.
I looked around and nothing existed specifically for 3D printing businesses. There were generic project managers and generic invoicing tools but nothing that understood what it means to run a print service: tracking grams of filament, hours per print, electricity costs per job.
So I built PrintTrack over the past few months while running my business. I use it every day now. It replaced my spreadsheets completely.
It's completely free, works in 6 languages, and you don't even need an account to try it. Would love feedback from other makers here
