Press Trip Pros is the first platform designed exclusively for organizing press trips. It connects vetted travel journalists and travel content creators with the PRs, tourism boards, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel brands planning press trips. Travel media create comprehensive profiles to receive more of the right press trip invitations, and trip organizers can search the detailed, self-managed profiles using 30+ filters to find the right travel media in minutes, not weeks.

Well, hello there, Product Hunt! :)
I’m Rosie Bell, the founder of Press Trip Pros, a discovery database that matches press trip planners with vetted travel journalists and travel content creators in two separate databases.
The background:
As a travel journalist for about a decade, I saw the same press trip frustrations play out, such as journalists not getting invites for press trips despite solid bylines, or getting flooded with irrelevant ones. We’re also often repeating the same info to organizers about our preferences, non-negotiables, dream trips, and editorial sweet spots.
Simultaneously, trip organizers spend weeks on media list-building and struggle to find out the logistical, editorial, and human factors that determine whether someone is a fit for a press trip.
Enter Press Trip Pros.
The solution:
Press Trip Pros can be used as a search engine to find can’t-be-Googled intel about established travel media under one roof instead of sifting through different websites for bios, bylines, and beats over weeks and months.
Search travel journalists using 70+ filters and travel content creators using 30+, covering everything from editorial focus, publication history, and location to travel preferences, availability, no-go zones, and wish-list destinations.
The travel media profiles are self-completed by journalists and creators and are never crowdsourced or scraped from the internet.
So in essence, organizers can find the *right* travel media for their press trips in minutes, not weeks, and travel media can make themselves discoverable for the types of press trips they want. No more rib festival invites for vegans and brewery tours for teetotalers.
Here is some feedback received from travel PRs since launching:
- “This is such an impressive (and rare) database!”
- “What a smart idea this is!”
- “This will save me so much time knowing that journalists specifically submitted their info versus digitally acquiring it from sources I don’t fully trust. This solves a big problem.”
