I built PowerVigil because Activity Monitor shows you numbers, not answers. I wanted to open one app and know: "Chrome is using 4GB and spiking your CPU 3x above its normal baseline" instead of staring at a process list sorted by PID. Under the hood, it reads real power data from Apple Silicon's IOReport and temperatures directly from the SMC. It builds a per-process baseline over time, so when something spikes above your personal normal, it tells you. After a week of use, it classifies your usage profile (developer, creative, light user) and predicts when your battery will hit 80% health based on your actual cycle data. 776 KB, Swift, zero dependencies.
