Congrats on the launch @dejo_vu I really like what you made, especially because my macbook doesn't let me turn the saving mode on directly. But I am curious to know, wouldn't this running in the background make the battery drain little faster?
@lakshya_singh Glad you like it! I mainly built this for myself because I was using multiple apps that each did one thing separately... one for monitoring temperatures, another for fans, another for controlling Turbo Boost... so I decided to put everything into a single app. I tested it and for me it works pretty well and does not drain the battery. I actually get 2 extra hours of battery life when I turn off Turbo Boost and keep the machine on the power save profile. I use a MacBook Pro 16 from 2019 with an i9 CPU, but I also tested it on an M-series CPU and everything works fine there too. I still need to polish the UI a bit to make it look nicer, I just did not have time for that yet, but the core functionality works and does not drain the battery extra. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

@dejo_vu Thats sounds amazing. I would definitely like to give it a try. Once I am done with launching Thumbmagic (would love your support there) I will try it out. Feel free to connect on Linkedin. I will share my feedback with you there. Also, if its your side project, I think its best if you publish it as a lifetime deal on a platform like Appsumo. But thats your decision.
Just released a new version of PowerManager with full Intel Mac support and a completely redesigned interface!
If you've been waiting to try it on your Intel machine, now is the time. The new design is cleaner, faster to navigate, and feels right at home on macOS.
Would love to hear your feedback.
