Your agent already runs Blender, Houdini and your engine. PowerHub funds the budget behind it, gives you one key for the models you use, and puts your latest build in front of backers who play it and write back. Curated - every campaign is read before it goes live.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
Something changed in the last few months and I do not think the framing caught up with it.
The interesting thing is not that a model can produce a game from a prompt. The interesting thing is that an agent now sits inside Blender, Houdini, Unreal, Unity, Godot, Substance and your compositor, and does the work you were going to do with a mouse. It plans a scene, writes the Python, renders a frame, looks at what came out, fixes its own script and goes again - and what you get back is an editable scene you keep working on. At SIGGRAPH this year basically every major tool vendor agreed on the same way to let agents in.
That is not a replacement for anybody. It is the boring half of the job, done while you do the half that needs taste.
But it costs money by the hour, and it landed on people who have none. Studios are four months from a milestone with two months of runway. So PowerHub does three things for someone who is already making something:
1. People fund your AI budget. You keep building.
2. One key for the models you already use. Point the agent in your tool at it and get on with it.
3. Your backers play the latest build. They open it, play it, rate it and write to you. Ship Friday, read Monday, change it Tuesday. That loop is the thing studios pay research firms for and solo creators never get.
And the fourth thing, which is why the other three are worth having: every campaign is read by a person before it goes live. A real creator, a real milestone, AI described as a tool with named tasks - not a feed of generated output. The standards are published, and so are the reasons we send things back.
Curated is not the same as polished, and I want to be loud about that. The first question we ask is "would a stranger play this again" - asked before anybody looks at the art. Grey boxes, programmer art, one font, an unfinished scene: all welcome, just say which bits are placeholder. Minecraft was an untextured cave-digging test in public four days after it existed. What we send back is the opposite case: gorgeous key art wrapped around nothing you can play.
The first campaign published on PowerHub is our own game, PowerPlex: First Light. Nine real-time circuit levels, made for mobile and desktop, playable in your browser right now without an account. We hope you'll like it, and help us develop it further with your participation.
A pledge is a contribution to an AI budget. It is not an investment, a purchase, a loan or a donation, and it buys no product. We are an intermediary - the models belong to the providers, and what a creator makes with them is theirs.
If you are mid-production and there is something you cut because you could not afford the hours, tell me what it was. That is the conversation I want today.
