Powderman: A collection of film photographs of a Colorado ski season.

Powderman is a collection of 60 film photographs spanning 5 ski resorts in an attempt to capture the escapades of a Colorado ski season. The collection was shot entirely with 35mm disposable Kodak cameras over the 2018-19 season. Shooting with One-Time-Use disposable film across various winter conditions provided both a thrill and challenge, which in return developed an entertaining set of photos each round. Often the images have glaring exposure issues and are out of focus. There are blanks, and a decent percentage are unusable. Disposable cameras are about as primal as photography gets. There is no winding up with the perfect setting or rapid fires from a good angle. You get more entwined with each shot, and that is what made this project fun. The following resorts were photographed: Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Keystone, and Vail.
