How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

Astra changed our ambition from building a better social media scheduler to building an AI system that can actually run the work behind social media. What started with scheduling and publishing expanded into understanding images, videos, and brand voice, generating content, managing conversations, and giving users AI agents that can take action. It made us think beyond “help users post” toward “help users grow without having to manage every step themselves.

The idea for post.buzz came from a pretty simple problem we ran into ourselves.
We were travelling, taking photos and videos along the way, and wanted to share them on social media. But we didn’t want to spend our trip sitting around writing captions, editing photos, adapting posts for different platforms, and making sure everything got published at the right time.
We kept thinking: why can’t we just give an AI our content and let it handle the posting?
The timing felt right because AI agents are becoming capable of much more than generating a generic caption. They can understand images and videos, learn your brand context, adapt content for different platforms, write in your voice, edit or improve visuals, and make decisions based on the context you give them.
That led us to a bigger question:
If an AI can handle all these individual tasks, why are we still stitching together five or six different tools to manage social media?
We initially started with the idea of automating content creation and scheduling. But as we built it, we realized that posting was only one part of the problem.
A useful AI social media team should be able to understand your brand, plan what to post, create and adapt content, publish it, help manage engagement, and learn from what performs.
So post.buzz evolved from another social media scheduler into an AI-powered social media team.
The goal is simple:
Give post.buzz your brand, your context, and your content, and let the agents take care of the repetitive work across your social channels while you stay in control.
We’re launching early because we want real people to use it, break it, and tell us what we got wrong.
This launch is the beginning of that process. We have our android and IOS app in pipeline to be launched within couple of weeks.
