PORA is an offline-first regional voice translator & zero-network walkie-talkie mesh (named after the ancient Gadaba tribal word for 'The Calling'). Tuned for Indian languages (Hindi, Odia, Mandyali, English), it enables real-time peer-to-peer voice talk in hills, trains, or offline zones.

They say love has no language, but when you fall for someone whose mother tongue is Odia and yours is Hindi/Pahari, you quickly realize how much gets lost in translation. Standard translation apps felt too cold, robotic, and bureaucratic to capture real emotion—and they completely fail in mountain valleys when mobile network drops.
So, I spent months building PORA (named after the ancient Gadaba tribal word for "The Voice" or "The Calling"). It started as a personal project to bridge the silence between two hearts, but evolved into an offline-first communicator for everyone.
It features zero-cellular mesh walkie-talkie mode, deep dialect intelligence for regional accents, and an inverted 180° flip-to-show card so you can look someone in the eyes while speaking.
I'm opening up the signed Android release build today to test and refine:
