Pola is the baby tracker I built after my wife and I got tired of tracking our daughter’s feeds across two phones and a whiteboard. Log feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, health, medicine and solids in one timeline. It works offline, has no ads or history limit, and keeps data encrypted in the EU. Pola Plus only adds shared care, more children and a PDF report for the pediatrician.

I built Pola after our daughter was born and my wife and I ended up tracking feeds and diapers across two phones and a whiteboard.

Eight months later, Pola is live on iOS and Android.

Pola is a baby tracker that keeps feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, health, medicines and meals in one clear daily journal.

It is built for the first months with a baby, when seemingly small details such as the last feed, nap duration or number of diapers become surprisingly difficult to remember.

EVERYDAY CARE

• Feeding
Track breast milk and formula amounts, feeding times and daily totals. Pola also shows progress toward the daily feeding goal and the estimated time until the next feed.

• Sleep
Start a sleep timer, add sleep manually or edit entries later. Daily sleep totals are always visible.

• Diapers
Record wet, dirty or mixed diapers and see the full history for the day.

• Growth
Track weight and height and follow changes on charts.

• Health and medicines
Record temperature, symptoms, medicine names, doses and times.

• Solids
Keep track of new foods, textures, amounts and the baby’s reactions.

• Reminders
Create reminders for feeds, medicines and other recurring care.

ONE DAILY TIMELINE

Everything ends up in chronological order in one journal.

You can open any previous day and see feeds, sleep, diapers, health events, medicines and meals exactly as they happened.

The home screen also shows the most useful things at a glance, including feeding progress and the estimated time until the next feed.

WIDGETS AND LIVE ACTIVITIES

Home screen widgets can show the next feed and feeding progress without opening the app.

On supported iPhones, active timers can also appear as Live Activities on the Lock Screen.

SHARED CARE

Pola Plus lets another parent or caregiver join the same baby journal.

Entries synchronize between devices, so one caregiver can immediately see what happened before they took over care instead of relying on messages, memory or handwritten notes.

PEDIATRICIAN REPORTS

Pola Plus can generate a PDF report for a selected date range and selected categories.

The report can include feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, health, medicines and the daily timeline, making it easier to prepare information before a pediatrician visit.

OFFLINE FIRST

Pola continues to work without an internet connection. Entries are stored locally and synchronized when the device is online again.

The full baby journal is free for one child and one caregiver.

No ads. No history limit.

Pola Plus only adds:

PRIVACY

Family data is encrypted and stored in the EU. Pola does not sell user data.
