I made MatchGrade because I was tired of not knowing who played well in a given five a side game or even a normal 11vs11 game after it ended. That led to lots of arguments among friends.
MatchGrade gets game stats such as goals, assists, interceptions, blocks, etc., and gives a rating based on those stats.
Some of the things I focused on getting right are:
It is transparent. It shows which stats impacted a given rating the most.
I focused on position. A defender getting a lot of interceptions is impressive, but not as impressive if the player is a forward.
There is no user account setup. Match stats are input, and ratings are automatically generated.
Users can see a breakdown of their recent matches and a season summary and share their rating card.
Currently, MatchGrade can rate soccer and cricket matches.
I built MatchGrade for my friends and I to rate games we play.
Thanks for taking the time to rate games!
