I've been using PlateJoy for about 8 months now and it has made meal planning for my husband and I so stress-free. I used to spend a few hours every Sunday deciding what to make for the week having to balance my own personal preferences with my husband's - and then on top of that trying to find recipes that used similar ingredients so that we didn't waste food. Grocery shopping was disorderly, hodge-podge guesswork for me, but Platejoy has almost completely removed these cumbersome tasks from me now. After a few weeks of using Platejoy, we bought a bulletin board for the kitchen in order to pin the printed recipes so that we both are aware of what's available in the fridge to make for the week. This has been a HUGE help because we never get home at consistent times - so whoever gets home first can start making dinner right away without any guesswork as to what's in the fridge or not. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to ensure you're cooking at home at least a few times a week. I'd be interested to see future partnerships they forge - like LifeSum or MyPlate.

PlateJoy rocks. Food is a crowded space, but PJ is pretty different. Fans food on wheels startups are satisfying when you're in a hurry, but they aren't great for you and you get sick of them pretty quick or if you don't want to feed your kids fast/restaurant food every day. On the other side, grocery delivery let's you make great good, but you have to do all the work of putting together the recipes, ordering the right stuff, etc. PJ is great because you tell it how you want to eat, it gives you recipe options, and you get all the right stuff. It even works if you're not a good cook. Definitely give it a try. Note: I'm a very happy investor as well as customer.

I absolutely love PlateJoy. I've been using it for the past 8 months and have gotten a bunch of my friends to use it too. It's been super helpful in a lot of ways: --way more variety in my cooking/meals --adds and element of surprise to meal planning (I look forward to seeing new meals for the week) --helps me stay healthy despite dietary restrictions/food allergies --makes grocery shopping more efficient/less stressful --save money grocery shopping because I'm not buying random stuff I also love that PlateJoy really cares about its users. They NPS customers regularly, and their founder has personally responded to my comments. They're always adding new features based on users' feedback. Basically, it's super affordable and awesome, and y'all should all try it.

I used to PlateJoy to help me switch from normal eating to vegan eating. They gave me a lot of creative ideas and recipes on how to eat healthy. But I also like that I was able to keep the recipes so I could refer to them again later. It's like having an online recipe book customized just for you. Great service! Give it a try!

This is my cherished discovery. i found this service after weeks and hours spent researching different recipes on every different website available just to try to cook at home a few more days a week and stay healthy. I didn't have staple healthy recipes as I never cooked for myself - thanks mom! I have saved so much time and energy with this. Everything is so perfectly tailored to you as an individual. My shopping list and digital pantry - items like olive oil, garlic powder, etc - are always on hand. You have a great meal queue that you can get excited about every week. You can also remove meals that seem unappealing from the queue but Platejoy keeps track and adjusts accordingly. I have been using this for five months and have learned so much about cooking and new ingredients. I would and have recommended to friends, family and co-workers. I can't say enough how great this is!

I've used plate joy for over a year now and I can't say enough good things about this app. It really helped me with saving time on having to make a list and find healthy recipes before going to the store. The meals are always great my whole family really likes them we love trying new healthy meals. Also when I ran into a little problem on the site they got back to me so quick and solved my problem. I love this company I would recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love PlateJoy. This app has been a godsend. I want to eat healthy, but have gotten so bored with the recipes I already know. Every week, I get a customized shopping list and dairy-free recipes (which my tummy is glad for). The food is delicious, variety is plenty, and the recipes are easy! PlateJoy, thank you for making my food life easier!

I've used PlateJoy on and off for almost a year now. It has been a wonderful experience to see how much they have grown and responded to customer requests (such as fitbit and instacart integration). As a vegetarian it can get kind of boring eating the same old everyday, and some or the recipies in cookbooks can be somewhat daunting. PlateJoy has assisted me in cooking some amazing food, friends area always surprised and asking me for recipes. I really do enjoy cooking, but going to the grocery store to just buy for one meal based on one recipe is never truly effective or efficient. With PlateJoy I feel like I'm able to shop for a whole week, without thinking too much about waste of produce or what I am going to make. Also the cost is super minimal. PlateJoy has literally changed my eating habits - in the sense that I rarely even want to eat out if I know I can make a better meal at home.
