Every free planning poker tool has a catch. A paywall a few sessions in, or a sign-up popup that won't take no for an answer. I didn't want to make an account or hand over my email just to estimate a story point, so I built Planning Llama instead. Open a room, share the link, vote, done. No account, no ads, no upsell. Just planning poker that gets out of your way.

Hey hunters 👋
I build software for a living, and my team runs planning poker every sprint. What pushed me to build this was hitting a paywall mid-session on one tool, then a sign-up wall on the next. It's such a small task. Drop a link, everyone picks a number, reveal. I didn't want to manage accounts or hand over emails for that.
So I kept Planning Llama back to basics. No login, no complicated settings, no dashboard, nothing fancy. Just the thing that does the job: open a room, share the link, vote, reveal. Every time I was tempted to add more, I left it out. Turns out the basic version is all you actually need.
Honestly there's a bigger reason too. I've always wanted to build my own software, but life kept getting in the way and things moved too fast to ever start. So I picked something small on purpose, to build the muscle and ship something real. This is the first step toward the bigger things I want to make next.
It does one thing. I'd love your honest feedback and I'm reading every comment today 🦙

Does the link stay live forever or do rooms eventually expire, and can I see the vote history after everyone reveals their cards?

@yasinv6bc Hi Yasin! Rooms are cleared after 15 days of inactivity, but the link itself never dies. Opening it after a clear just creates a fresh room at the same URL, so your team can keep playing without interruption (previous data won't carry over though 😉). For the vote history, last 15 rounds are kept. Thanks for the interest!
