I built Photo Sprite because my iPhone photo library kept growing, while finding one specific photo or making a good album still meant endless scrolling.
Photo Sprite creates an on-device index of your library, including quality, recognized text, QR codes, similarity, and location. That powers useful suggestions as soon as you open the app: similar shots, old screenshots, blurry photos, large videos, monthly highlights, and trip albums.
When you have a more specific idea, you can type or say it naturally — for example, “Pick my best travel photos this year and make an album” or “Find the screenshot with my Wi-Fi password.” The optional AI assistant uses the provider you choose, including free models or your own API key/account.
The assistant can only propose changes. Every album or cleanup action becomes a review card, so you see the photos and adjust the selection before anything happens.
Photo Sprite is free and available for iPhone in English and Simplified Chinese. It is available from the U.S. App Store, but not with Mainland China Apple IDs yet.
