Hi Product Hunt,
I have a habit of screenshotting my calendar on the good days, the ones where the shape of the hours came out right. At some point I noticed I was doing it for days that had not happened yet: sketching a Saturday I wanted, admiring it for a minute, never opening it again.
Perfect Day is that habit with the calendar app taken out of the way. You drag activities onto a timeline that runs from six in the morning to midnight, resize them until the day has a rhythm rather than a checklist, name it, and export a poster at 1080x1350. No signup. The poster is the product; everything else is in service of how it reads once it leaves the site.
Published days land on a shared canvas you can pan around and zoom into, which is the part I did not plan and now use most.
Two things I would genuinely like feedback on:
1. The collection is a pannable canvas rather than a grid. On a laptop I love it. On a phone I keep changing my mind.
2. There is a matching feature sitting behind a switch, days whose rhythms line up with yours. It is off because the scoring calls almost every pair a twin, and being told "three people designed nearly your day" is worse than being told nothing when you click through and see it is not true. I know how to fix the thresholds. I am less sure whether the feature is delightful or slightly creepy.
React 19 with the compiler on, Convex, and a poster renderer that took more attempts than I would like to admit. Happy to go into detail on any of it.
