Hi Product Hunt! Peace Day is a free YouTube library of 10-hour sleep sounds: brown noise, box fan, rain, ship engine hum. Every track is hand-mastered to -16 LUFS, the screen stays truly black for OLED, and there are no mid-roll ads. Nothing wakes you before your alarm does. This is not an app. It is a YouTube channel, and I am launching it here because it solves a problem the PH crowd knows well: you fall asleep to a 10 hour rain video, and at 3am a car insurance ad screams you awake. So I built Peace Day with three hard rules. 1. No mid-roll ads, ever. On any video, permanently. 2. True black screen. I verified the pixels are 0/255 black, so an OLED TV or phone actually turns off the panel. 3. Properly mastered audio. Most "deep" noise videos on YouTube are quiet, thin and hissy. I measured dozens of them with EBU R128 and found popular uploads sitting anywhere from -26 to -16 LUFS. Everything on Peace Day is mastered to a consistent -16 LUFS with the energy concentrated below 500Hz, which is what actually masks traffic, snoring and noisy neighbors. The nerdy part: the visual pieces are rendered with a WebGPU pipeline I wrote myself, step-rendered at 4K60 with zero dropped frames, and the audio chain is a custom Python mastering pipeline.
