A Mac app for one job: fix a date, a name or a typo in your own PDF. Edits use the font inside the document, every edit is checked before it is applied, and the replaced text is removed from the page. No account, no subscription. Free to try.

Hi Product Hunt. PDF Textfix does one thing: it changes text that is already on a PDF page, one line at a time, with the font embedded in the document, and verifies the page before applying the edit. If a check fails, the edit is refused with the reason, rather than giving you a file that looks right in one viewer and wrong in another.
It deliberately does not add text boxes, change fonts or sizes, reflow paragraphs, OCR scans, fill forms or redact. It is for the invoice with the wrong date, the CV with the typo, the letter with the wrong name.
Free to try: your first 5 line edits per Mac save clean; after that saved files carry a watermark until a one-time purchase (US$29). macOS 26 on Apple silicon. Direct download or Mac App Store, no account either way, and the file never leaves your Mac.
Tell me what it refuses on your files; that is the feedback I need most.
