Kudos on empowering the developer community with such a robust tool!
How do you intend to foster and manage the community's contributions to the Payload project?
We started using payload recently for making full-stack web applications. CMS is their core but you can go above and beyond with their excellent support.
Tapping into the new ecosystem and loving it.
I've been using Payload CMS for more than a month now. It hard to appreciate the simplicity and performance without trying it. I encourage everyone to try it.
All you need is to create a model (Typescript class) to define how you want to structure your data, and you're done! It does support RESTFUL API outside the box, along with GraphQL. Very fast (we have a collection with 75,000 items) and response time is less than 100ms.
Keep up the great work @jamesmikrut and team.
Congrats on launching 2.0! Been using PayloadCMS for a couple of months now and it's *exactly* what I was looking for. Great product, well-designed (and getting better!), and a great, helpful, community that many other platforms could learn from! Good luck with the launch of 2.0!
hey @jamesmikrut! congrats on your launch! I'm using Payload CMS for a while now, started to do so when the version number started with a 0 and I already liked it even then. great documentation, really dev friendly product, I can only just recommend it.
Really great and made easy to use and keeping their key users in mind!
Payload is a forward-thinking CMS, it has a great community with responsive developers, great DX for developers and UX for content writers.
It's a relatively new product and as such may be more limited in terms of features and broad integrations/support but the community is writing plugins and its open source so you can either contribute or expand it for your own purposes, as it's an extensible application framework too!
Amazing! Congrats on your launch. While I'm not the target persona here, I must admire the simplicity and functionality of the UI here of Payload. Good job guys :)
