Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm syin, a solo developer who loves simple, beautiful games. Three months ago, I was stressed out and opened 2048 to zone out for 5 minutes. But every version I found looked the same — dark grids, harsh colors, zero personality. I wanted something softer. Something that felt nice to look at. So I built Pastel 2048 🎀 It's the same addictive number-merging gameplay you know, but wrapped in warm pastel tones, rounded tiles, and gentle animations. No ads that hijack your screen. No sign-up. No download. Just open the tab and play. What makes it different from the hundred other 2048 clones: 🌸 Actually pleasant to look at — pastel palette designed to be easy on the eyes 📱 Works on both desktop (arrow keys) and mobile (swipe) 📖 Built-in strategy guide — I wrote 4,000+ words on corner strategy, number chains, common mistakes, and how to consistently reach 2048 🌐 Available in English and Chinese (中文版也做好了) I built this entirely on my own — from the game logic to the SEO to the little CSS details like the tile pop animation. No templates, no game engines. What's next: - More pastel-themed classic games (Snake, Flappy Bird, Bubble Shooter) - Dark mode (a pastel dark mode — is that even a thing?) - Leaderboard once there are enough players I'd love your feedback — especially on the strategy guide. Honestly the pastel palette makes this way more relaxing than the original 2048, and I'm kind of impressed a strategy guide was actually included since I usually just wing it.
