PassAI turns your own study materials — PDFs, notes, slides — into AI-generated quizzes for IB, AP, and GCSE exams. It uses Bayesian Knowledge Tracking to estimate your pass probability per topic, and shows progress as a growing garden instead of streaks or red marks. Built by a teacher for students preparing for high-stakes exams.

Hey Product Hunt
I teach IB students, and I built PassAI because I kept watching the same thing happen every exam season: smart, hardworking kids spiraling because they had no idea whether their studying was actually working. Streak-based apps and generic flashcard tools weren't helping — they were adding pressure.
PassAI does three things:
You upload your own materials (your teacher's slides, your notes, past papers) and it generates quizzes from that, not from a generic question bank.
It runs Bayesian Knowledge Tracking under the hood to estimate your pass probability per topic, so you know where you actually stand.
Progress is shown as a garden — topics you've mastered are in bloom, weak ones are seeds. No red X's, no broken streaks. The metaphor is intentional: studying should feel like tending something, not running from punishment.
Free tier lets you upload, quiz, and see your pass probability snapshot. Pass Pro ($9.99/mo or $79/yr) unlocks the full topic-by-topic garden, study plans, and progress over time.
Backend is FastAPI + Supabase, frontend React. Built with one developer on revenue share — not VC-funded, so feedback genuinely shapes where this goes next. Would love to hear what you think, especially from students, teachers, and anyone who's used Quizlet/Anki and wanted something different.
