Hey everyone, I started building PartPiper pretty much out of personal frustration. I was trying to put together a PC and kept bouncing between different sites, forums, and stores just to figure out basic things like “what’s a fair price right now?” or “does this actually fit with my other parts?”. It felt like a very fragmented and unintuitive process. Over time I realized the core issue wasn’t just price comparison; it was the lack of context around prices and decisions. You can see a number, but you don’t know if it’s good, if it’s trending up or down, or if you’re even making a sensible build. So I started shaping PartPiper around that idea: not just listing prices, but adding context around them. Price history, alerts when things drop, and a simple way to build compatible systems without constantly cross-checking specs manually. It’s still early, but the goal is to reduce the friction between “I want to build a PC” and actually making a confident decision.
