Hi Product Hunt 👋 I am Niteesh, founder of Particle AI Labs.
Staff at accounting firms are already using ChatGPT and Claude for real work: drafting client letters, summarising HMRC correspondence, checking documents. The problem is what goes into the chat. Client names, UTRs, National Insurance numbers, bank details.
Banning AI does not stop it. It just moves the work to personal phones, where the firm has no record and no control.
So we built Particle Gateway. It is a Chrome extension that masks client details on your computer before a message reaches ChatGPT or Claude. Your team sees their message exactly as they typed it; the AI only ever sees placeholders like [[PERSON_1]]. Pasted passwords and API keys are blocked before they are sent. Detection and the audit trail run on your machines, so no client data leaves the firm, and none of it comes to us.
It works today with ChatGPT and Claude in Chrome, for messages and documents. A pilot with an accountancy firm in Pune is already running.
