Parkographer is a free tracker for the 63 U.S. National Parks that turns your visits into a game. Check off parks to earn ranks and unlock achievements. Sort the parks into your own S–F tier list, build a wishlist of the ones you're chasing, and add friends to compare maps and climb the leaderboard together. See which parks the community rates highest, and share a public profile that shows off your journey. You can even GPS-verify a visit. Free, works in any browser, iOS app coming.

Hi Product Hunt!
I'm a huge fan of US national parks, and tracking which of the 63 I'd been to in a notes app finally annoyed me into building Parkographer.
What it does:
✅ Check off parks, rate them, and watch your map fill in
📍 GPS-verify a visit - stand inside the park, tap verify, and it confirms you were actually there (a checklist you can't cheat)
🏅 Earn ranks and unlock achievements with your visits and exploration
👥 Add friends, climb a leaderboard, share your personal tier lists or your public profile
⭐ Community rankings - which parks people who've been rate highest.
It's free, no install (works in your phone browser), web for now with an iOS app coming.
I built it solo and I'd genuinely love your feedback - especially: does the verification flow make sense, and what would make you come back? More park types, trip planning, photo logs?
Thanks for taking a look - I'll be here all day answering everything.
Love the tier list idea, that would actually keep me coming back to update rankings after each trip. One thing that would help though is being able to plan a road trip route across multiple parks at once, like drawing a loop and seeing which parks fall along the way with distance between each one. Would make chasing those hard-to-reach parks way more intentional.
@zbeyde1571010 Thanks for the feedback! I have thought about expanding the features from post visit only to pre visit as well, including some sort of planning! I did some trips recently, involving multiple parks and help with planning, and what to see and what to skip considering the time budget would have been helpful.
the GPS-verified visits are a smart touch, actually proves you were there instead of just clicking a box. tier list for parks is also a fun way to add some personality to the tracker.
@eminltzg Thank you! I agree, and it being just an extra is not preventing people from adding their older visits!
