Seems like this is dead? Twitter handle gone and the website connection times out.

Seems like Spotify could just lift the restriction on having it's software play music on only 1 device at a time. The second device gets auto-muted. Still a cool idea though.

@evankimbrell We still fall into those restrictions, if you tried to listen with the same Spotify account on two different parallel desktop apps it wouldn't work. However, listening with some one while have the free version works great! edit: didn't read the comment quite right lol. They could but they wan't people to purchase Spotify accounts. Removing that restriction would probably hurt their revenue. It's also not their core business but def would be interesting to see how they would approach it.

Include a regular email login. (or if you must, OAuth to google or twitter) No offense, but I don't want to give out my phone number. That immediately turned me off and I deleted it.

@vulgrin we're looking to make more options available soon, we wanted to make it as easy as possible.

I've wanted something like this forever. But I don't like using Spotify … any chance you could get this to work with iTunes and Apple Music?
Brennen Peters
@snej We are waiting on the updates to Apple Music coming with Sierra macOS updates. Currently the meta data we need to make it work nicely isn't available currently. So hopefully after it drops we should be able to roll it in :)

This could be a great idea for streaming music with friends.

I really liked this product when it came out. Tried downloading it again, but it looks like parallel.fm is no longer up. Did you get shut down?
Miguel Martinez
@gidbot seems like it... maybe check out Five. Similar in some points and new in so many others :) https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Kind of reminds me of Heartbeat.
