OutTrace is a local-first Chrome extension for freelancers, developers, and small agencies that shows which trackers and third-party services a website connects to, then lets you compare captures over time. Watch client sites after deploys, plugin updates, or tag changes, spot added or removed services, and export clear client reports. No OutTrace account is required, scan contents stay in your browser, and Pro is a one-time $14.99 purchase—not another subscription.
Hey Product Hunt — I’m Wes, the maker of OutTrace.
This originally started as LinkScope, a simple way to visualize the third-party connections happening on a webpage. While building it, I realized the graph was interesting, but the more useful problem was knowing what changed over time—especially on websites you maintain for clients.
So I rebuilt it around that workflow.
You can scan a site, see the trackers and third-party services it connects to, watch it after deployments, plugin updates, or tag changes, compare captures, and turn the findings into a client-friendly report.
I also wanted OutTrace to stay lightweight and local-first. There’s no OutTrace account required, scan contents stay in your browser, and Pro is a one-time purchase instead of another subscription.
This is still early, so I’d especially like feedback on the reports, change detection, and what you’d want OutTrace to monitor next.
