Hi everyone, I'm Vinnie, and I built Orbit Station.
Every morning I opened the same handful of tabs by hand: mail, calendar, the repo, the docs I was in yesterday. I wanted my new tab to do that for me, so I built a Chrome extension around one idea. You save a set of sites as a "stack" and open the whole set with one shortcut, from any tab.
It grew from there:
Cmd/Ctrl+K searches your links, stacks, notes, to-dos and open tabs, and runs commands like "close duplicate tabs" (with a preview first).
Workspaces keep work, side projects and personal stuff apart.
Notes, to-dos with plain-English repeats ("standup every weekday"), a calendar and a focus timer sit in a sidebar.
1.9 added a side panel with "Recently cleaned", so tabs you closed in a clean-up come back in one click.
If you're leaving Arc, there's an Arc import. It reads your Arc sidebar file on your computer and turns spaces into workspaces. Nothing is uploaded.
What's free: everything above, with no account and no ads. Your data stays in your browser's local storage. Pro (US$4.99/mo or US$39/yr, 14-day trial) only adds sync across devices, cloud backup and sharing workspaces with teammates.
I'd really like to hear where it falls short. What's missing from your morning setup?
What got in your way in the first five minutes? I'll be here all day answering questions.
Thanks
