I made Orb and Bloom because I wanted something small, simple and cute and always in sight, rather than another generic strip in the menu bar.
Orb reads Codex usage locally on your Mac. Bloom connects directly to your Claude account in the browser. Different inner workings, so they felt better as two focused companions than one app.
