This is a great concept! It forces a person to maintain a bit of discipline in learning new things and also, by having mentors, it saves your time which would otherwise be wasted on looking for right resources to read.

Fantastic tool! Really enjoying it so far. Got connected to a great mentor the first time - also heard some people need a few connections before they find the best one but always ended up finding a great mentor. Can definitely recommend it. I've been a user since the start and was on the email list when Max was still working on this - Max has been very open about creating the tool, the features and continually updates on the progress. Keep it up, @_maxdeutsch!

I used the product for close to a month. The idea is brilliant and the support is quick to react.

In my case, the mentor wouldn't respond often. When I asked for my subscription to cancel, it was cancelled immediately (even though I paid for until end of the month) and no refunds were given because "as we've already paid your mentor for the first month". I think mentors lack incentive to perform well.

I am still a fan of the platform and I think with some modification it could become much better.

Pros:

Idea is great, price is reasonable, many different options to choose from

Cons:

Mentors don't seem to have an accountability in terms of response time, platform is too basic and doesn't have account mgmt or billing

How do you pay mentors?

Creates benefits for both the student and the mentor. The student learns, the mentor gets experience and the feeling of helping someone. It's difficult for many to stay away from their smart-phones... this encourages less brainless app scrolling and more learning.

This is an awesome idea. I've been looking for something as simple as this for a long time. Finding a good mentor that has the time and desire to share its knowledge is never easy and I'm sure this chat based mentoring will help a lot of other young entrepreneurs like me. I love it !
