I've been a mentor on Openmind for a couple months now and it's going really well. I had been following Max's projects online for a while, and this idea is very needed, especially among people new to coding or in the start of their learning-to-code journey. I wish there was this app when I was starting out! I spend a few minutes a day, getting my mentee unstuck in their learning, and keeping them accountable to their goals. It feels really good to support another person's learning, and nice to get that extra $100 a month :)

This is a great concept! It forces a person to maintain a bit of discipline in learning new things and also, by having mentors, it saves your time which would otherwise be wasted on looking for right resources to read.

@_maxdeutsch Recommended this to someone and they're in customer success/account management. Seems like most companies will have this function and (generalising) is a big one for people early in their career not sure where to specialise. I.E could benefit most from mentors! Is this a category of mentors you might add soon?

Fantastic tool! Really enjoying it so far. Got connected to a great mentor the first time - also heard some people need a few connections before they find the best one but always ended up finding a great mentor. Can definitely recommend it. I've been a user since the start and was on the email list when Max was still working on this - Max has been very open about creating the tool, the features and continually updates on the progress. This is an awesome idea. I've been looking for something as simple as this for a long time. Finding a good mentor that has the time and desire to share its knowledge is never easy and I'm sure this chat based mentoring will help a lot of other young entrepreneurs like me. I love it !
