Open Doc is a free, native macOS dock. Group apps into folders, keep separate docks for work and personal projects, and add clocks, focus timers, notes, checklists, and system stats. Build custom widgets with web values and JavaScript, or configure them through an agent-friendly CLI. Local data, no analytics, MIT licensed. For Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14+.

Open Doc puts app folders and useful widgets in a native Mac dock. You can create independent docks for different projects, then give each its own position, appearance, and auto-hide behavior.
It includes clocks, focus timers, notes, checklists, system stats, and custom widgets. There's also a CLI so coding agents can configure widgets and dock settings.
It's free and open source under the MIT license, with local data and no analytics. It runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later.
A quick first-run note: Open Doc hides Apple's Dock by default. Quitting Open Doc or choosing Restore Apple's Dock brings it back.
