Hi Product Hunt,
I’m passionate about computing and I’ve worked in DevOps for more than 10 years. Onicost grew out of feedback from my clients about their infrastructure costs.
I wanted a way to go from a bill to a specific workload, see how much capacity it actually uses, and decide where to look first. Onicost brings Kubernetes cost breakdowns and cloud billing into one app, with unused capacity, usage metrics, recommendations and estimated monthly savings.
The big addition is Scheduler (beta, included in Team). You choose when supported workloads and cloud resources should run, simulate the rule, then activate it. Dev environments can stop overnight or at weekends and start again for the working day. Analysis is read-only by default; scheduled cloud actions use a separate write identity.
Business adds organization groups, access scoped to each team, and OIDC/SAML SSO for people managing several teams or environments.
There’s a free plan and a 14-day trial with no card required. The savings shown are estimates: reducing the bill depends on the billed resources you actually release.
I’d love feedback from DevOps engineers and SaaS teams: what would make this useful in your next cost review?
