OmniLume Reel is a local-first desktop workspace for the messy stage before editing. It turns long videos into searchable scenes, so you can find moments by objects, actions, quotes, or reactions, then collect useful clips into reusable libraries for review or editing.

Hi Product Hunt,
I am building OmniLume Reel for people who work with long video material: video essay creators, documentary editors, course makers, researchers, and small content teams.
The pain is simple: you remember the scene, quote, reaction, object, or argument, but you do not remember the timestamp.
OmniLume Reel helps you import footage you are allowed to analyze, turn long videos into searchable scenes, search by meaning, preview the exact moment, collect useful clips into reusable libraries, and export selected clips for review or editing.
It is not meant to replace Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut. It sits before editing, where research, review, and clip prep usually get messy.
I would love feedback from anyone who regularly works with long interviews, lectures, talks, demos, research videos, or b-roll libraries. What kind of video would you try first, and what would you search for?
