Hi Product Hunt 👋 Many in my family serve in temples as priests in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Growing up, I saw the temple office from the inside: archana tickets written by hand, the hundi counted into a paper register, the deity's ornaments taken out for a festival with one person responsible for making sure every piece came back. Omkaarya began in conversations with my relatives about those problems. The name joins Om, the Pranava, with Kaarya, from Kaariyaalayam, the administrative office. Omkaarya: the administrative office of the sacred temple. What it does today: - Seva and vazhipadu counter with live puja rates and receipt printing - Devotee records with families and Nakshatra dates - Hundi collection logs with officer sign-offs - Prasadam and pooja stock with low-stock alerts - A custody register for deity ornaments - Panchangam, festival calendars and trustee reports We're early and onboarding our first partner temples.
