NYMETRA detects and pseudonymizes sensitive information locally before sending content to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Users review the masking, and original values can be restored locally in AI-generated responses.

Hey Hunters and Makers.
I'm one of the co-founders of NYMETRA, and I'm excited to share what we've been building.
The idea came from a problem we encountered with legal professionals: everyone wants to benefit from tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, but what happens when your documents contain confidential client information?
We wanted to make generative AI accessible without forcing professionals to compromise on confidentiality.
That's why we built NYMETRA.
Here's how it works:
Import your documents or write your prompt.
NYMETRA detects sensitive information locally.
Review and pseudonymize the data before sending it to your chosen AI.
Get your AI-generated response, with original values restored locally when possible.
The key difference: original documents and correspondence tables stay on your computer, not on our servers.
NYMETRA is available for Windows and macOS, with a particular focus on lawyers, consultants and organizations handling sensitive data.
We've already had the opportunity to test NYMETRA with legal professionals in France, and their feedback has helped shape the product.
Now we'd love to hear from the Product Hunt community.
How do you currently handle confidential information when using generative AI? And what would make you feel more comfortable using AI in sensitive professional workflows?
Looking forward to your feedback!
Yann, Co-founder of NYMETRA
